These terms explain how Box Gopher pickup works, what materials are accepted, and how billing and schedule changes are handled.

Service

Box Gopher provides residential pickup of empty, dry cardboard in the active service area. Customers choose a plan, provide accurate service details, and place accepted materials in the agreed pickup location by 8 AM on pickup day.

Accepted materials

Box Gopher accepts cardboard only. Customers should empty boxes and remove non-cardboard packing materials before pickup. We do not accept trash, food waste, styrofoam, plastic, hazardous materials, wet cardboard, or contaminated materials.

Quantity limits

Recurring pickup plans include one standard household pickup per scheduled visit. Standard pickups cover normal household cardboard volume from regular deliveries. One-time overflow pickup is available for unusually large household cardboard piles.

Larger moving, renovation, furniture, commercial, or months-long cardboard piles require approval before pickup and may require an added overflow fee or separate visit. Box Gopher may skip, partially collect, or reschedule piles that exceed the plan limit.

Access and missed pickups

Customers are responsible for providing a safe, reachable pickup location. If boxes are not available, are blocked, are unsafe to access, or include unaccepted materials, Box Gopher may skip the pickup.

Schedule changes

Pickup days and timing may vary because of holidays, severe weather, route changes, unsafe access conditions, vehicle issues, or other operational needs. Box Gopher may move a pickup to the next available route day and will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers by email.

Billing and cancellation

Recurring plans bill through Stripe. Customers may cancel through the billing portal or by contacting support. One-time overflow pickups are billed once.

Changes

Box Gopher may update routes, pickup timing, plan availability, and service rules as operations grow.
